We take you to a remote and wild part of the country where not even cellphones work. There are no tarred roads and people use horses to travel around. The men still travel great distances, with their cattle, looking for grazing and often sleep out in the open, eating lizards and mice for nourishment.

The trip starts at  08:00 am and takes about 6 hours. We drive through Qwaqwa and up the side of the Amphitheatre. From there we go past the Sentinel Peak to the top of the Drakensberg.

The trip takes a full day leaving at 6:00 AM and returning at 8:00 PM. This is a steep and strenious hike that also includes some rock scrambling towards the top. However, truly breathtaking view will reward you for your efford. For this hike you need decent hiking boots, warm clothing waterproof clothing, a hat and suncream.

We visit the communities without a fixed itinerary but with the hope that we can visit as guest and get to share their day to day lives.
Due to HIV/AIDS in South Africa many kids are left orphaned - so we visit an orphanages to share a hug or two with the little ones, we visit schools, or just a drink and a dance in the local tarven and contribute in the development of the communities.
There is nothing guaranteed here. Whatever the locals are doing - we will do.
